Happy CRAZY Holidays!

We are truly blessed this holiday season. We have been extremely busy and have been blessed with so many things! For those of you that don't know we did get to move into our new house for Christmas! It is amazing so as you can imagine I got TONS of Christmas presents for the new house. Including but not limited to!.... New table and chairs, new living room furniture, new beds for the kids, new bedding, new dishes!, a water softener, new toaster, and my house painted!! I am one lucky lady! So on top of moving into our house on the 19Th and the few days after Doug and Stacy, Lacey and Ricky all came to share the Holiday with us! It is nice to have space for family to come visit. I can hardly wait until Feb when my mom gets to come and stay with us to help with the new baby! I wish we could have spent time with all our family this Christmas but we all know we can't be in 2 or 3 places at once.
Anyway back to Christmas. Christmas day was very fun, Taylor couldn't get enough of opening her gifts! She didn't want more things just wanted to open everyone's presents for them while Colin would open something and play with it for a while until we could get a new gift to distract him enough to want to open it. After everyone but Taylor had a nice long Christmas nap Stacey and I made dinner and we all enjoyed it then headed to Mesa to see the lights at the Temple. Which we say every year we are going to go see and never do but this year we made it and really enjoyed being at the temple and feeling the special spirit which is there. I go one other special treat for Christmas.... I got to talk to Aimee! It was so nice to hear her voice and feel the spirit radiate through her to our home. Sometimes within all the reckless maddness at our house we miss that sweet pure spirit that can come from special people like missionaries. She had wonderful things to say and it of course made me cry when she bared her testimony to my mom and I even though I couldn't understand the feeling of the message was so strong!
Last after that long jumbled mess of a post I would just like to say that I am so grateful for our lord and savior Jesus Christ and I know that he died for us so that we might be able to live again. I am so blessed and can not thank him enough for the blessings our family receives. I love him and my family so very much and am honored that our heavenly Father would trust Josh and I to raise his loving and beautiful Children I am grateful to be a mom and to be a wife to one of the most loving men in the world.
I love you all a miss many of you so much during this season! I hope all is well and that your holiday was very special!

A Happy Turkey Day

We had a nice relaxing turkey day and entire weekend thus far. We didn't get to travel to see family but we got to spend time with some great friends. The Scholz/Bailey's were kind enough to host our family as well as their own for the weekend. We had a nice dinner went to zoo lights and spent lots of time visiting(girls) and watching football(boys) Here are a few picture from zoo lights.

After we finished at zoo lights taylor had a really sad face on and when I asked her what was wrong she nearly burst into tears saying " I miss MY grandma and grandpa". And we sure did! We really miss our family during this time of year and want them all to know that we love them and think about them often and no one will ever take their place!

Oh and finally a picture of me! Preggers! 29weeksish

A Highschool Tag

Well I often avoid being tagged or strictly ignore that fact that I have been. This time I thought I would go with it. This is all about Highschool and since I enjoyed it and wouldn't mind spitting our my memories for my kids to hopefully read one day. So enjoy and let me know if you remember it differently!

1. DID YOU DATE SOMEONE FROM YOUR SCHOOL? Yes, a few someones

2. WHAT KIND OF CAR DID YOU DRIVE? Ahhh I started with a white eagle summit that was stick shift and had no power steering. I taught quite a few friends to drive stick in that thing. Then I drove good old booty booty! We all loved her. My purple Saturn. She was all decked out in leopard print. Good times in booty booty!

3. DID YOU PASS YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE TEST YOUR FIRST TRY? Actually, NO! I missed one too many questions on the written portion and had to retake it.

4. WHERE YOU A PARTY ANIMAL? We had a lot of fun but I don't think party animal is the right lable.

5. WERE YOU CONSIDERED A FLIRT? I don't think so.

6. WERE YOU IN BAND, ORCHESTRA, OR CHOIR? Highland Choir of course.

7. WERE YOU A NERD? I wasn't a nerd in the sense that I was really smart and liked to study but I had a great group of friends that loved to do the same things I did. I think at times when we were out "rolling" or making Claymation videos we were probably pretty nerdy!

8. WERE YOU ON ANY VARSITY TEAMS? Im not so athletic! Suprise!!! So No.

9. DID YOU EVER GET SUSPENDED/EXPELLED? No but I did get kicked out of seminary once.

10. CAN YOU STILL SING THE FIGHT SONG? Every verse. My hubby loves when I do this!!

11. WHO WERE YOUR FAVORITE TEACHERS? Im not sure... I liked Mrs. Hardy, Mrs. Peck and Hagerman. And Mrs. Croft even though she was a bit nuts! Well now that I think of it they were all a bit nuts in their own way.

12. WHERE DID YOU SIT FOR LUNCH? We had a open campus so we ate out most of the time. On wednesday it was Nacho day at Mama Inez so we ate there a lot. We also ate alot of subway and taco bell. If we stayed at school it was usually for choir or rampage so we ate in the class rooms. I don't remember ever eating in the lunch room.

13. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S FULL NAME? Highland Senior Highschool

14. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S MASCOT AND COLORS? Red, Black and White RAMS!

15. DID YOU GO TO HOMECOMING AND WITH WHO? I went to one with Andy Wilcox and the other I went with Richard Jones.

16. IF YOU COULD GO BACK AND DO IT AGAIN WOULD YOU? Im not sure. I would definatly work harder to learn more. I skipped alot and did a very small amount of work. I love life right now as a mom and a wife so I don't know if I would want to go back to before that.

17. WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER MOST ABOUT GRADUATION DAY? The huge fight my mom and I got into right after graduation.

18. WHERE DID YOU GO SENIOR SNEEK? We went to Bear Lake when I was a senior and I went with my older friends when I was a Jr. to Island Park! Both were amazing and so much fun!

19. HAVE YOU GAINED SOME WEIGHT SINCE THEN? I lost some then Gained alot then lost some. Three kids will do that to you... I think I actually weight less when I am at a non pregnancy weight then when I was in Highschool.

20. WHO WAS YOUR PROM DATE? My Jr year and my best prom by far was with Tyler Clark and my Sr. prom I went with Brinton Robison

21. ARE YOU PLANNING ON GOING TO YOUR 10 YEAR REUNION? I would like to. I still have 5 years so we will see.

23. DID YOU HAVE A JOB IN HIGH SCHOOL? I worked at Pier 49, Wendy's and Mystique

Now it is your turn! take the time to remember the past! Have fun and let me know when you do it!

Dance Recital

Here is Taylor's Dance recital it was short and sweet. Taylor really enjoyed her dance class this session. It was fun to try something a little different. She loves dancing with "her girls" They were little Doctors taking care of their babies.

A new Family Picture

I don't know if you can see the belly but ypu can see how much the kids have grown in the last few months! They look a little angry but oh well... we will hopefully get some good pictures done after Morgyn is born.

Martin Family Pictures

We got together so we could take pictures of all the Martin Grandkids -- after nearly desperate pleas from the grandparents. We are really lucky that the three families are close enough that we can do it. My parents aren't nearly this lucky! Enjoy these cute Boys and our beautiful girl. Next time we have pictures there will probably be the addition of 2 more beautiful girls due in Jan and Feb!

Family Summer 08

I just realized that I never posted this picture. It is from September but its better late then never i suppose! Thanks Kyle for taking it!

Big Ol Happy Pumpkin

This is a huge pumpkin that someone constructed at the end of our street, right when you turn onto our street. It was very clever and took the ladly that did it an entire day and after a wind storm the other day she went and cleaned it up to tried to fix it the best she could. There is no lack in Halloween spirit on our street. Our house is one of the only ones not decorated.

Re-Sharpay

The first Sharpay costume didn't work out so well. By the time I picked her up from dance it was falling apart. So I hit the Disney store at Az mills in search of a new costume. They had no HSM costumes so we settled for this Camp rock costume that we figured could pass as Sharpay! WOW was the first thing Josh said when he saw it and WOW is right! As you can tell she just LOVES it so It is perfect!
Don't worry I will post pictures of Colin soon! He is going to be a Football Player! So cute but not nearly as flashy as his sis!

So Sharpay!

Well I did it the dreaded homeade costume! The Sharpay costumes in maricopa were limited to this blue mermaid looking dress she wore in HSM. I didn't like it and it was sleeveless so I decided what the heck I can make my own sharpay costume. Well you be the judge :). Im not sure it was a good idea to let a 3 year old be sharpay but she sure had her heart set on it. She has the attitude some days too! Well enjoy the pictures of my sassy girl. This is the first day she got to wear her costume for dance... tomorrow for preschool and Friday for trick or treating of course! For those of you that don't know who Sharpay is she is a character from Highschool Musical! One of Taylor's Favorite movies.

October is here and Gone!

Here it is already the end of October! I can hardly believe it! It such an exciting time for us. Like the previous post said we just got our new Reedley which has kept us extra busy the last week. I am still working on the Vinyl lettering thing... I went to a show on Saturday and had a few orders! Wahoo! Keep it in mind for Chirstmas gifts! So along with that Josh is doing school, Taylor has dance and school, I am still working and we are trying to prepare to move into our new house which is coming right along. I wish it would come quicker. Oh yeah and I am FINALLY looking a little pregnant. I think my belly gets bigger everyday. I had one request for belly pictures but It might take a little more than that to get them up on here :) Well as for pictures we carved a pumpkin and had such a good time that I think I will stop by the store and pick up a couple more to carve on wednesday. Here are some pictures of the kids and Josh carving the first of our pumpkins!

A new addition

We did it! Well not a baby girl yet, or not that kind of baby girl anyway! We bought a puppy! She is SWEET! She is great with the kids and the kids love her of course. Taylor never wants to be away from Home because she is always worried about what her puppy is doing. We named her Reedley and she is 11 weeks old. She is half miniature pincher and half Chihuahua. She is lovable and so cuddly. They said she was mostly potty trained but I have yet to see that. She still has LOTS of accidents. She is well worth training and working through it all!

It's Getting Cooler

It is finally starting to cool down in the evening around here and not get hot quite so early in the morning. The kids are LOVING it! They spend as much tiem as I will allow them to outside during the day. Just running around, playing in the cars and just chillin. Here are some pictures of Colin... Happy not to have ria ria anymore and getting to be outside.... He was having so much fun!
