Happy Halloween

Morgyn was our little lion ( we lost our ears on Friday night), Colin was Woody and Taylor was Jessie. We had a great 3 days of fun! I was sick on Saturday and recovering Sunday but it was still so fun to spend time together and see the kids so excited to dress up! They had a blast. They are already planning next year! :0)



































I never did get a picture of all three kids together but here is what I did get!

Today we were invited to participate in a photo shoot for a friend of mine who is a very talented photographer, You can check out Shannon and her splendid talent here! So since I am taking a photography class I decided to work on a little homework while I was there with her. I am not nearly as talented as Shannon but I thought a few of them turned out pretty good!

Disney on Ice

My friend Ashley and I took our kids to see Disney on Ice. The kids LOVED it! I did too! It had a whole bunch of different disney characters. It was a little crazy taking all the kids but it was well worth it and a lot of fun!

An Update

I haven't posted in a while so I thought it might be time for an update.

I have such a wonderful little family and they say and do the cutest and most wonderful things.

TaylorTay is going up so quickly she has become a very good little communicator. She LOVES to talk! She talks to everyone but is a little shy at first just like I was when I was her age hiding behind my moms leg. Then as soon as she feel comfortable the jabbering starts.

She also loves to sing, dance, color and paint. She is a sweet blessing in our home. Preschool started about 6 weeks ago and she is loving it. She is used to doing other activites along with preschool so she is finding herself a little bored some days but has had more time to spend playing with her brother and helping mommy around the house. She is becoming such a beautiful and smart little girl I think she is Daddy's very best friend! He loves to spend time chatting with her and playing games with her. She adores his attention of course and values his opinion on things. She is starting to be very observant and notice the things around her. Like a car that is the same color or make as ours things I sometimes don't even notice.

She says things like

Mommy- Red means HOT! and Blue means WARM (refering to the kitchen fauset.) In arizona that is true. Poor girl may never know the blue means cold :)

She also has come up with funny nick names for people.
She insists that her Uncle Bob is actually Uncle BobCat.... Juni bears daddy

She calls her self Taylor Swift Hannah Montana Princess Sparkles Martin

Today we had this conversation:

T: What color are your eyes?

M: They are blue.

T: Hmmmm, Let me see.

Nope they are green just like Daddy's, sorry nothing you can do about it. She is so fun loving and sweet. What a little blessing she is in our home!

COLIN Oh Our sweet little boy. He is as loveable as ever but man can he be a stinker! He always beats me with those BEAUTIFUL blue eyes. He is still as active and crazy as ever, he is a ball of energy and fun. He is learning to talk really well and can communicate his needs very well. He love to play with Taylor and run around the year with Reedley. He usually will pick 2-5 toys in the morning that seem to stick with him until he is asleep. He eats with them near, he plays with them, he sleeps with them and so on. We have been working on potty training slowly and trying to let him pace it because he is still young. He does really well some days and won't do it at all other days. We usually can guess which way it is going to go. If I ask him in the morning and he tells me " Its working!" or on other days " sorry mommy its broken, its not working sorry." It is a bit of a challenge but he is so very much fun! He love boy things like balls, cars and trucks but can be the most sensative little thing around. If you catch him when he is happy he is so very fun but catch him tired and hungry and you may want to watch out. We love him despite his stubborn personality. He is a wonderful little boy and it is amazing to watch him grow. He is such a joyful blessing in our home!



Morgyn

My dear little lady, I can not believe that she is already 7 months old. I don't know where the time has gone. She is doing wonderfully. Her heart condition seems to be under control and we don't have to see the Cardiologist until Dec. WAHOO! We are so very blessed! Morgyn is a happy baby, she is not still a bit spoiled but she is lots of fun. She isn't very fond of solid baby food but she love food. She like to eat fruit out of that little mesh spoon thing. She also love the little stars and yogurt bites and crackers.

She doesn't have any teeth yet and I don't even know how much she weighs! I do know she is chubby and sweet! She has started to army crawl and is working her way to fully crawling Im not sure Im ready for that! She grows and learns new things everday and enriches and blesses our lives constantly! We are so LUCKY! to have her! I can't imagine our family had we lost her. I try to cherish that she is a healthy little one every day!

Happy CRAZY Holidays!

We are truly blessed this holiday season. We have been extremely busy and have been blessed with so many things! For those of you that don't know we did get to move into our new house for Christmas! It is amazing so as you can imagine I got TONS of Christmas presents for the new house. Including but not limited to!.... New table and chairs, new living room furniture, new beds for the kids, new bedding, new dishes!, a water softener, new toaster, and my house painted!! I am one lucky lady! So on top of moving into our house on the 19Th and the few days after Doug and Stacy, Lacey and Ricky all came to share the Holiday with us! It is nice to have space for family to come visit. I can hardly wait until Feb when my mom gets to come and stay with us to help with the new baby! I wish we could have spent time with all our family this Christmas but we all know we can't be in 2 or 3 places at once. 

Anyway back to Christmas. Christmas day was very fun, Taylor couldn't get enough of opening her gifts! She didn't want more things just wanted to open everyone's presents for them while Colin would open something and play with it for a while until we could get a new gift to distract him enough to want to open it. After everyone but Taylor had a nice long Christmas nap Stacey and I made dinner and we all enjoyed it then headed to Mesa to see the lights at the Temple. Which we say every year we are going to go see and never do but this year we made it and really enjoyed being at the temple and feeling the special spirit which is there. I go one other special treat for Christmas.... I got to talk to Aimee! It was so nice to hear her voice and feel the spirit radiate through her to our home. Sometimes within all the reckless maddness at our house we miss that sweet pure spirit that can come from special people like missionaries. She had wonderful things to say and it of course made me cry when she bared her testimony to my mom and I even though I couldn't understand the feeling of the message was so strong! 

Last after that long jumbled mess of a post I would just like to say that I am so grateful for our lord and savior Jesus Christ and I know that he died for us so that we might be able to live again. I am so blessed and can not thank him enough for the blessings our family receives. I love him and my family so very much and am honored that our heavenly Father would trust Josh and I to raise his loving and beautiful Children I am grateful to be a mom and to be a wife to one of the most loving men in the world.

Martin Family Pictures

We got together so we could take pictures of all the Martin Grandkids -- after nearly desperate pleas from the grandparents. We are really lucky that the three families are close enough that we can do it. My parents aren't nearly this lucky! Enjoy these cute Boys and our beautiful girl. Next time we have pictures there will probably be the addition of 2 more beautiful girls due in Jan and Feb!

October is here and Gone!

Here it is already the end of October! I can hardly believe it! It such an exciting time for us. Like the previous post said we just got our new Reedley which has kept us extra busy the last week. I am still working on the Vinyl lettering thing... I went to a show on Saturday and had a few orders! Wahoo! Keep it in mind for Chirstmas gifts! So along with that Josh is doing school, Taylor has dance and school, I am still working and we are trying to prepare to move into our new house which is coming right along. I wish it would come quicker. Oh yeah and I am FINALLY looking a little pregnant. I think my belly gets bigger everyday. I had one request for belly pictures but It might take a little more than that to get them up on here :) Well as for pictures we carved a pumpkin and had such a good time that I think I will stop by the store and pick up a couple more to carve on wednesday. Why! Poop and Puke (Read with caution or Skip all together)

I try hard not to do this! I have so many blessings in my life, 2 Beautiful kids, a wonderful husband, a great home and a new baby on the way. We are blessed in so so so many ways I feel like to complain when I have so many great things is seems unnecessary. But.... I need a moment-- I have cracked!
For those of you that attended The poop and puke tour of Highland High School Choir I think it was in 02-03. I feel like that is my life right now! Well not those of you that were puking and pooping (a moment of silence for you), but those who spent the time cleaning up after all the poopers and pukers.
This madness has gone on for about a month now and I don't know much longer it will last! I can take no more but feel like I have no choice but to endure.
Colin is my pooper and Taylor is my puker!
It started when we were in Idaho over labor day weekend and the week before. I keep thinking it is ending and as soon as I feel like sanity may return--4 Am or early rolls around and I hear Taylor in her bed Screaming in horror that it has happened again.PUKE! I feel horrible for her! The Doctor has nearly no advice! Some weeks it is every night. It will stop for 2,3 even a week or so and then with out warning she starts again.
Colin this poor boy! I don't know if it is teeth or if I am doomed to a life of cleaning poop and puke until they are teenagers! He will have about one solid poop until it all starts again. Acid poop! Sorry for this description! Starts with one nasty diaper then the diaper rash comes. It is not just a little red, it is this raw horrible red. I have tried every cream on they make and some that my Dad makes for me! Nothing seems to make it go away only makes it manageable. On top of all this I am pregnant although this all did come after my first trimester when I puke daily because of the lovely child that is growing inside of me. I now puke daily(well not quite) Because of the puke and poo I am cleaning off of various objects around my home.
So as my 3 year old and I both sit here in tears-- me because I am fed up, tired and pregnant and her because she is hungry and mom won't let her eat yet! AHHHHH! Now that I feel like I might survive another day and things seem to be settling back down with Josh off to work, Colin in bed with a clean diaper(at the moment)(# 4 since 3:30 this morning) and Taylor snuggled up on the Luv sac with a blanket, movie and a puke bucket and me feeling a little better having vented but still thinking I need a day to relax with no worries! HA~ like that will ever happen! I guess I will try to rest a bit more hope this isn't the calm of the tornado that may be my day but if it is I will take advantage of it and rest!

Lucky Day

Well Im pretty Late with this entry but still want to be able to look back and remember it.

The Kids and I met Josh after work on Wednesday afternoon to go to Tempe Town Lake. It was our Lucky day! The place was completely empty! The weather was beautiful. A bit cloudy and a nice breeze! We couldn't have asked for more in the Middle of August in Az! Here are a few pictures! We had a great time.
